FREE musical theatre workshops for Islington children

Children who love to sing, dance and perform on stage, are being offered the exciting opportunity to join FREE dance and drama workshops led by professional actors and dancers. The courses, which are run by East-Side Educational Trust and supported by CEA @ Islington, are open to all Islington young people aged 9-11.

Enthusiastic and committed children will be offered a free place on a series of Musical Theatre workshops running at four different primary schools in Islington. The Dance & Drama workshops teaches acting, singing and dancing under the guidance of professional dancers and performers from top West End shows. Course participants will learn great new skills, make new friends, and work towards a public performance.

Sessions take place at four different Islington primary schools, and you are welcome to join the workshops at the school nearest to where you live:

Pooles Park Primary School (Lennox Road, N4 3NW) on every Wednesday from 4-6pm

Copenhagen Primary School (Treaty Street, N1 OUF) on every Wednesday from 4-6pm

Grafton Primary School (Eburne Road, N7 6AR) on every Wednesday from 4-6pm

Newington Green School (Matthias Road, N16 8NP) on every Thursday from 4-6pm
