Education Week events 27 June - 2 July
Islington Education Week turns five this year and we'll be celebrating in
style! We will be showcasing the talent of Islington's children and young
people and having some fun into the bargain. And because we believe learning
never stops, find out what's on offer for adult learners at Islington's online
centres.
Monday 27 June
Looked After Achievers Day at the Arsenal - invitation only
Raising the Achievement of Bangladeshi Heritage Children: Ensuring Success

Wednesday 29 June
Early Years Carnival of Colour, at Whittington Park, 11.30-2.30.
With Pekos puppet show, The Chicken Shed Theatre Company, George Brade Steel
Band, clowns, Arsenal coaches and a special guest appearance by Gunnersaurus.

Thursday 30 June
The 'Islington Debate' at 5pm in the council chamber, Town Hall.
A selection of pupils from our secondary schools will be debating "Can the
views of school pupils make a difference?" Open to all.
Refreshemnts from 4.30pm, debate starts at 5pm, finishes 7pm
Friday & Saturday 1 & 2 July
The Demon Headmaster, Islington Youth Theatre performance
, at the
Central School of Speech and Drama matinee and evening performances on both

EC1 summer fete at King Square EC1
EC1 schools have been designing posters and artwork for
EC1 New Deal’s week -long summer festival.
