Commuters raise £10,000 for Richard Cloudesley School
Commuters travelling between Old Street and High Barnet on the northern line
raised a massive £10,000 for Richard Cloudesley Special School on 16th
December 2005.
The members of staff on the northern line spent a day asking commuters to give
generously to raise money for the special school in EC1.
Mr Brendan Gallagher from the London Transport Northern Line Staff Association
will be presented a cheque for £10,000 to the school at a special ceremony on
Friday 3 February 2006. For many years a small and dedicated group of northern
line staff have worked extremely hard to raise money for the school. This year
the commuters have been particularly generous.
