St Mary's CE School awarded Quality Mark for basic skills
St Mary’s CE Primary School has been awarded a Quality Mark from the Basic
Skills Agency for their high standards in literacy, numeracy and language
skills. The Mayor of Islington, Councillor Jyoti Vaja presented pupils, staff

To gain the Primary Quality Mark, St Mary’s CE School has had to undertake a
rigorous evaluation procedure to demonstrate a high level of effectiveness in
ten key quality elements. These include improving standards in English,
literacy and mathematics, promoting working with parents and demonstrating
high standards of teaching.

the hard work of all our pupils and staff has been recognised by this award”
