Teacher Taster Course for people from ethnic minorities
THINKING ABOUT BECOMING A TEACHER?

5 North London Local Authorities are holding a taster course for people who
are interested in teaching either secondary shortage subjects^ or in primary
education.
The course will cover topics such as:
* Teaching & Learning Styles;
* Loans, Grants and Finances;
* Overview of the National Curriculum;
* Routes into teaching.
You will also have an opportunity to visit a local school and spend one or two
days working alongside teachers.
All applicants must have a degree or equivalent qualification.
^mathematics, science (physics and chemistry), modern languages (French and
German), ICT, design & technology, music, religious education.
