Transition and transfer
There are two points of transition in every child’s schooling, from early
years provisions to reception class in primary school and from primary school
to secondary school in year 6.
Both applications must be made to the School Admissions Section who provide
the application forms and information on how to apply. The current brochures
for both transfers can be downloaded from the
brochures page. For a brief explanation of the procedure click either

Primary School Applications
The closing date for primary school (reception) applications for admissions
for September 2008 and January 2009 is 1 February 2008. You will need to apply
for a place if your child was born between 1.9.2003 and 31.8.2004.Please
contact the School Admissions Section on Tel: 0207 527 5516 / 5515 /5836 to
obtain a brochure and application form. Alternatively you can
apply online.
Secondary School Applications
The closing date for secondary school applications, for children starting
school from September 2008, was 19 October 2007. If you have not made an
application for your child, then you must contact the School Admissions
Sections on the contact numbers listed above to make arrangements for your
child's education.
