School Responsibilities
Schools must notify Cardfields at least two weeks in advance of the journey of
the number of children and staff expected, and of any special dietary or other
requirements.
Schools should advise the centre of the name of the designated journey leader
as soon as possible after the booking is confirmed.
Schools/groups must ensure adequate supervision of all children/group members
visiting the centre at all times.
Journey leaders must familiarise themselves with Cardfields’ rules and safety
guidelines prior to the commencement of their visit.
Schools must ensure proper use of house, grounds and all equipment issued, and
undertake to meet any additional charges levied as a result of improper use.
Bookings will be confirmed in writing.
On confirmation a deposit is required of 10% of the total charge. Three months
written notice of cancellation is required. Failure to adhere to this
requirement will result in the full amount being liable. The deposit is only
refundable at the discretion of the Head of Centre where three months notice
is given of cancellation.
