Education Capital Programme and Asset Management

The Planning and Asset Management (PAM) team offers core services to schools by:

• Providing advice and guidance to school senior managers and governors on issues relating to health and safety and school site/premises management

• Requesting and supporting the analysis of Asset Management Plan (AMP) related statistical data as required by the DfES and its partners

• Working with other CEA@Islington colleagues to support schools causing concern or requiring additional special support

• Formulating, preparing and managing the Children’s Services (schools) capital programm

• Providing client management of the outsourced catering service

• Providing advice and supporting the design, delivery and maintenance of schools’ outdoor learning environments

• Planning and managing school place projections

• Managing and offering guidance for Devolved Formula Capital allocations
