Arts - Music Centre

 

The new music centre based at Hargrave Park Community School offers tuition on a wide range of musical instruments:
 
Keyboard
Classical Guitar
Electric Guitar
Drum Kit
Flute
Recorder
Violin
Viola
 
Sessions run on Tuesday from 3:30pm till 6:30pm and Saturdays from 10:00am till 2:15pm
 
Please Note that on Tuesdays the centre only offers tuition for Keyboard and classical guitar.
 
We encourage pupils to enter for a range of exams including ABRSM, Trinity/Guildhall and Rock School.
 

Procedure for joining Hargrave Park Music Centre

 
Information for parents and carers:
 
[1] Minimum age for children to participate are those currently in year 2 and upwards.
 
[2] Parents and carers can either download an application form by clicking here, or should send a self addressed stamped envelope for an application form to:

[3] Completed application forms should be sent to the above address.
If a suitable place is available you will be informed either by telephone or in writing.
Please note that this is not done simply on a first come first served basis. Pupils are grouped by ability. If a place is not immediately available then the application form will be kept on our waiting list.
 
[4] If you decide to accept the place a non-returnable processing fee of £25 will be required before the place is confirmed. Cheques must be made payable to Cambridge Education @Islington. Please do not send cash.
 
[5] Fees are currently £7 for each 45 minute session. There is a reduction for parents/carers who can provide evidence that they are entitled to free school meals. These sessions cost £5 .
 
[6] You will be required to pay for four weeks fees in advance when they attend in the first day. After this fees are payable on a weekly basis. Please note that fees are charged for any sessions that are missed unless a medical certificate is provided .
 
[7] Please note that the above fees are non-returnable.
