Bullying is not acceptable. We want you to know that in Islington, we are all working together to make our borough a ‘bully free zone’. This will help to make schools safer and happier places to be.In Islington there is a full-time Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator who works to make sure that all schools and other places you visit have anti-bullying policies which are there to protect you. There is also a team of police who work in schools called the Safer Schools Team who are also there to help you and make your school safer. A School Travel Team work with all the schools in the borough on safe routes to school to try and make sure you feel safe while travelling or walking to school and back. Islington will soon have an Anti-Bullying Policy for the whole borough and we would like to know what you think of that. We will be sending the draft policy to schools, youth clubs and to the pupil parliament to find out what you think of it. If you have any questions about this or other work we are doing on anti-bullying in Islington you can contact the Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator on 0207 527 5778
