Timetable for building schools for the future
Over the next 7 years, every Islington secondary school is being
substantially re-built or improved.
Islington's Vision and Strategy for secondary education will transform
students' experiences of education in the future. The Building Schools for the
Future (BSF) programme will be in 3 phases:

The 6th form consortium
Enhanced 6th form provision on the Highbury Grove site

Relocating to the Highbury Grove site (secondary students)

The outline business case is prepared for the overall BSF programme & for all
Phase 1 schools.

Consultation meetings are held at each of the Phase 1 schools to discuss the
planning briefs - check this website, for latest information about dates.

Report submitted to the Council's Executive.

The affordability details, range of services and overall structure of the BSF
programme will be revised during this period, so it is vital that ALL schools,
from every phase, are actively involved in the process.
